Put a Feather in your Heart

Become like a bird

what?

observe them, feel them

become them

Put a feather in your heart

they sing for space

they sing to bring in the sun

they sing to charm,

They sing to their lovers

they chat with their children

each song they sing

touching the soul of anyone

With ears, a heart and a beat

be the bird you are

and fly, fly above it all
